Ms. Naglaa Bahr
Managing DirectorJoined CGC in 2015
Ms. Bahr has more than 30 years of experience in economic development, financial advisory rating, research, feasibility studies, strategic planning, project management with a focus on emerging markets development. She has a special expertise in MSMEs access to finance and development.
Ms. Bahr has an MA in economic development - MSMEs and role of guarantee schemes - AUC.

Mr. Hisham Halawa
Head of Guarantee OperationJoined CGC in 1991
Mr. Halawa has more than 38 years of experience in the banking sector and guarantee industry, his wide experience focused on credit assessment and risk with a special focus on SMEs finance and business development. His experience includes working in Cairo Barclays Bank and CGC Egypt.
MR. Halawa holds BA in Accounting- Cairo University

Mr. Ahmed Islah
Risk Executive DirectorJoined CGC in 2018
Mr. Islah has over 16 years of risk management experience. He has a wide experience in RME with all its risk aspects. Mr. Islah worked with many financial institutions including banks (Piraeus Bank, NSGB), private equity firms (Al-Ahli for Development and Investments) and financial leasing companies (Nile Financial Leasing.
Mr. Islah is CFA Charter holder in Egypt, he is also certified by many other institutions in the finance and investment (American University in Cairo, Egyptian Banking Institute).

Mr. Amr Riad
Business Development Executive DirectorJoined CGC in 2005
Mr. Riad has worked his entire professional career which spans 37 years in financial and developmental organizations with emphasis on MSMEs development. He started at EAB, and Chase Manhaten bank for 11 years and shifted his focus to MSMEs by working in SOCIAL FUND for Development. His experience includes the management of mixed MSMEs portfolios. Mr. Riad has a wide experience in MSMEs Access to Finance, managing SMEs funded programs, and developing SMEs financial models.
Mr. Riad has a BSc in Economics - American University in Cairo.

Mr. Amr Hammouda
Micro Executive DirectorJoined CGC in 2003
Mr. Hammouda is one of Microfinance pioneers with more than 31 years of experience. Mr. Hammouda has vast experience in designing and structuring microfinance projects and products. He was one of the initial team establishing microfinance with ABA which qualified for best practice model in region and Africa for more than 12 consecutive years. He participated in establishing microfinance in Yemen, Bahrain and joined CGC in 2003 as a USAID expert for establishing the Company's Microfinance unit and he was responsible for managing its portfolio ensuring the application of best practices measures.

Mr. Mohamed Hamed
Internal Audit Executive DirectorJoined CGC in 2021
Mr. Mohamed is a certified audit professional with over 23 years of experience in the field of Internal Audit, Financial, compliance, operational audit and Governance.
Mr. Hamed is a CIA - Certified Internal Auditor and acquires CPA from USA in 1991.

Mr. Raied Anwer
Finance Executive DirectorJoined CGC in 2017
Mr. Anwer has more than 30 years of working experiences in different local and international companies (KPMG, APICORP, 75375 and ALKAN) overseeing the financed operation, strategic financial management, capital management, and treasury management.
Mr. Anwer has a BA degree in Accounting - Ain Shams University and an MBA degree in Finance – Arab Academy for Science and Technology, and is a Member of the Egyptian Society for Accountants and Auditors.

Ms. Germin Abou-El-Atta
Information Technology Executive DirectorJoined CGC in 2017
Ms. Abou-El-Atta has more than 30 years of working experience at in the field of Information Technology. Her experience includes a wide variety of strategic planning, IT management resources, allocations, Information Technology, Governance and Protocols, delivery of IT Infrastructure and services Information Security systems. Ms. Abou-El-Atta worked at Asia Brown Boveri (ABB) and Misr International University.
Ms. Abou-El-Atta holds a B.SC degree in Engineering specializing in Communication and Electronics – Helwan University and MBA certification from John Sulston University, UK.

Mr. Amr Abbas
Human Resources Executive DirectorJoined CGC in 2013
Mr. Abbas has more than 30 years of working experience in the field of Human Resources. He worked in The Arab African International Bank, El Ahly Bank in Qatar covering the field of Human Resources Management, including development of policies, talent management, training, recruitment, performance management, compensation and benefits.
Mr. Abbas holds a BA degree in Business Administration and Economics, American University in London complemented with a Master in Management.

Mr. Gadir Gawdat

Mr. Gadir has over 30 years of finance progressive experience in multinational industries ( Gillette and Shell ) across various financial disciplines from business development support, strategic planning , margin improvement, internal controls , mergers, acquisitions, treasury operation , organizational enhancements and process reengineering, and infrastructure/manufacturing process implementation. Geographical exposures across Europe, Middle East and Africa.
Mr. Gadir holds BA degree in Finance and Accounting - Cairo University , an is a member of Institute of Management Accountants.

Mr. Sherin Othman
Operations Executive DirectorJoined CGC in 2021
Mr. Othman started his banking career in early 1993. During 27 years, he has served several local and multinational banks such as Egyptian American Bank, American Express Bank, and Union National Bank – UAE. In addition to conventional banking, Mr. Othman has extensive experience in Islamic Finance as a Certified Sharia Advisor and Auditor. Mr. Othman has academic studies in Accounting, Financial Analysis, and English Law.
Mr. Othman holds a BA degree in Accounting – Ain Shams University, MBA in Banking and Financial Institutions – University of Wales, UK, and DBA Researcher with Heriot-Watt University, UK. CertHE in Law – University of Essex, UK. He is also a member of the Chartered Banker Institute-UK, and a fellow of AAOIFI.
